Left

'''Left''', also known as '''ATrueBruhMoment''' and more recently as '''VRILGQD''', is a long-standing player on the GlobeMC server. He joined GlobeMC in either 2019 or 2020 and has remained a recognizable, if polarizing, figure throughout its various iterations.

Early Days

Left is known for establishing a town in the region of the United States during the first GlobeMC iteration, believed to have been centered around New York City. At one point, he held control over the broader USA region.

Community Relations

Left's tenure on the server has been marked by widespread disapproval from many players. He often found himself the subject of in-game hostility and mockery. His interactions, leadership, and town policies led to friction with other players.

The New York Meteor Incident

One of the more memorable conflicts involving Left was the "Meteor Arc," during which a player named Sans constructed a massive meteor/comet above and near New York, where Left's town was located. The construction served as both a symbolic and literal representation of opposition toward Left and became a server-wide point of spectacle.

American–Puerto Rican War

During the fifth GlobeMC iteration, Left, using the alt account VRILGQD, served as a senator in the United States. In December 2024 he accused Puerto Rico’s leader of sexual assault and demanded war, which the Senate eventually declared. As a general, he built a forward base on Mona Island to support the invasion of Puerto Rico, but it was quickly destroyed by Puerto Rican forces. He repeatedly attempted to seize the San Juan banner and took part in several battles; during the second battle he misfired an ender pearl and died, leading to an American defeat. After the war he was stripped of his General rank and barred from declaring war again. Left’s role in the war and the controversy surrounding his accusations made him one of the most polarizing figures in GlobeMC history.

Legacy

Despite the controversies surrounding him, Left has remained an enduring character in GlobeMC history. The community’s reaction to his actions has helped shape several memorable narratives in the server’s history.

Staff Role and Ban

In the most recent iteration of GlobeMC, Left became a member of the staff team. Despite holding this position of authority, he remained a controversial figure within the community once again.

In May 2025, Left was demoted and banned from GlobeMC for abusing his staff powers on the MOTFE Discord server. He used his authority to unjustly ban multicody10, the server owner, an act which led to immediate repercussions.
